Holaaaaa
Wow wow wow this week was one of my favorite weeks of the mission thus far. I have never been soooo stressed and sooooo happy. But first things first... transfers are this week and... I'm staying here in Lakeville with Hermana Meredith!! It was probably the least expected option of all, we're stoked! We feel like we have strong relationships with the members and leadership here and we're excited to work closely with them this transfer!
So many miracles this week. Okay there's always an abundance of miracles but the past few weeks have been a little rough and that made this week extra special. Let me tell you about a few:
One night this week we decided to visit this less active that asked us to come see him but he has no phone and we can never never never get into their lock out. Usually when we can't get in, we pray and ask Heavenly Father to send someone to open the door in a certain amount of time and if no one comes, we know that's not His will. But this night we asked Heavenly Father to send someone soon because we weren't leaving until we got in. About ten minutes later the less active's wife was walking in with groceries, we were like okay perfect. Unfortunately the guy we were looking for wasn't home but we got to talk to his wife again, share a short message, and set up a time when he would be home! God is so good.
Also we found some awesome new investigators this week. It's not hard to find new investigators because Hispanics are too nice and when you say you're talking about Jesus they alwayyyyyysss want to hear. The hard part is figuring out if they're actually interested, they'll never say no and they're always very busy (sometimes actually busy and other times "busy") One of them we're excited about is named Abi. She is a friend of a member and has been taught by missionaries before but we decided to stop by. We had an awesome lesson with her about the Book of Mormon. Turns out she hasn't read it because she didn't understand the point of it. We were able to explain why it's important and she was excited and open to learn more.
One of our less active's we've been teaching came to church!! We were soooooo happy to see her there oh my I love her and her family so much. We had an amazing lesson with her on Wednesday. We read the Sacrament prayers with her, the Sacrament is so powerful! She told us she is ready to come back and she said she made a goal to come on Sunday and nothing was going to stop her. Sunday comes and she's walking in with her family, best day everrrrr
We've been having a hard time with people realizing the importance of attending church or they can't come becuase they always have work. So we have been praying non stop to find someone who a. doesn't have work on Sundays and b.wants to come to church with us. We were running around the whole town inviting everyone to church in faith to find the elect that someone would meet our 2 qualifications. Now it's Friday. We still hadn't found our person but we felt like it was time to check up with Jorge. We went to see him and when we were talking he all of a sudden says, "I have something to tell you and I know you'll be a little disappointed, I have been nervous to go to church." He then told us how he doesn't have work and he really wants to come on Sunday. We addressed his concerns and brought some members over on Saturday and he told them he wanted to meet them so he could come to church. Then Sunday comes and he actually came!! It was a miracle. Best part is that he made so many friends and he loooooveeedd it, so. much. He said he should've come a long time ago. God delivers!
There is so so so much more to say about this week but I'm afraid I have already lost all your attention. The rest of my week included roaming the streets in the rain shining flashlights to find house numbers, running away like a penguin when you accidentally make a security light turn on, sneaking into an apartment building to heart attack the sisters, a 7 year old Baptist begging us to baptize him tomorrow, making a rap for Sister Grover's birthday, graduating from training, teaching the gospel in a gas station while Hna is in the bathroom, and so many more miracles. I can't wait for 6 more weeks of miracles with Hermana Meredith!

I am so thankful for the power of prayer. It is so real. Heavenly Father is waiting to answer our prayers, we just need to get on our knees and PRAY. Have a great week I love you all!
